Attentive and friendly service from all the staff and owner here. Would advise on getting a reservation as the place is pretty packed. we were lucky to get a bar table as we came at 12 when the restaurant opened. The place is a bit difficult to spot due to the ongoing construction - the entrance is on the other side from the main road. Food was great 👍 . garlic prawns and the wild prawn risotto was delicious. Worth the one-hour wait. We cleaned the tapa plates as they arrived. The dishes came out one at a time, but that allowed us to focus on each one before the next one arrived. Service was also great - the manager/owner seem to try to get us seats. One of the best shrimp dishes I’ve ever had - very fresh. The clams were delicious too. Make sure you get bread to soak up the sauce. The Vino Verde paired very well well with both dishes. I don’t know where to start…since we entered the small restaurant in the heart of Porto we were welcomed very warm and friendly. Appetizers, main courses, service, everything was perfect. We visited for dinner on a weekday. We heard so much about this place and we went with really high expectations. Booking before is a must otherwise get ready for long wait times. The ambience is quite simple and our waiter was really polite and helpful. For food we had the Tomato and olive oil bread, Zucchini parmigiana, potato tortilla and seafood cataplana and for dessert we had Peanut foam. Generally we found the food to be well cooked and tasty and overall it was a pleasant experience. However, having went there with really high expectations we felt slightly underwhelmed because the food was not something extraordinary flavour wise or had a wow factor. The prices for Porto are pitched so for these two reasons we cannot give it a 5. The highlight for us was the peanut foam which was super yummy and airy as the name suggests. Found this place via Google reviews and I went there without a reservation (which I don't recommend because they're quite busy) and, I had lunch at the bar. I loved the food, it was delicious. The staff was super friendly and nice. The waitresses, such a nice lady. She came to see and check many times if everything was fine. Price wise, around 20-24 euros in average for the main course. This place gets busy so make sure you book! We got there just as they opened for lunch and was lucky to get a table. Nice local feel with friendly staff. The bruschetta was very nice, as was the prawn risotto. The duck was over cooked and a bit of a letdown, even though they they asked to make sure we were happy for it to be ‘pink’ inside. It was barely pink and very tough. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying all the different seafood dishes, so may have gone with the wrong choice. For my last meal in Porto this restaurant was a gem. Found close to the train station, this restaurant is a top class one. The food was amazingly good. My fish and seafood curry with coconut milk was like heaven and the mushroom risotto was very Delicious.
