The prawn is very special and delicious. The potato one is too salty for me and just ok. I think some staffs here are racist, wait quite a long time to order food while other people came after me ordered before me. I tried to find staff to help with order, but they seem did not see me??? One of the best experience ever. We went there last May. Still in the previous location just in front of the new one. We loved it so much we came back. Food was absolutely scrumptious, everything we had was delicious. We had the tuna tartar pinchos, the salmon ceviche with sweet potato chips, the tortilla de patata, the beef carpaccio and the oxtail dumplings. Perfection. This restaurant is such a Porto gem. You MUST make a reservation in advance as when we arrived for our 7pm reservation (when the restaurant opens) the line was already packed with around 20 people. We got seated promptly with our reservation and we asked the waiter for his recommendations and he kindly gave us his favourite dishes: Thai mussels, seafood platter in Thai curry and garlic shrimp. All the dishes were packed with flavour and were just spectacular. The interior is decorated with a rustic Portuguese charm that feels like you’re sitting in someone’s home, and the food truly felt that way as well. Lovely food and super packed, the head lady kindly let us in at a reserved table who were coming later! The only reason why 1 star is missing is that some of their dishes are pretty heavy on the salt (fish soup - still really yummy though, and the curry that my friend had), and its pretty pricey! Seems to be popular so it’s better to book a table. We got lucky tho and got seated due to friendly staff. Food is good. The marinated salmon with sweet potato chips was really delicious. Service excellent and in general had a nice experience. The seafood of the day did not meet the expectations though, didn’t have enough taste and felt like a big bowl of shells with little flesh inside. Be sure to get a reservation early on because the place tends to get full. Either that or line up early because a line tends to form. Didn’t have a reservation but lined up 30 mins before the restaurant opened and it did not disappoint. The shrimp risotto was soooo tasty, i still have dreams about it. Got the duck which was unique and really good too. The dumplings and soup were okay- would suggest to get something else. Dessert was really good, a banana mille fuille i believe. Just amazing!!!! Totally recommended place. The food is wonderful, everything is homemade, and the prices are quite fair. All the staff are very kind, speak lot of languages. Last time I tried the beef carpaccio home made marinated, fish soup (very tasty) and shrimps with garlic, everything is fresh, if you take the shrimps with garlic I recommend taking bread with it because the sauce is just magical.
