Nice atmosphere, Great service, Amazing food! Arrived without reservation and even being quite full they managed to get us a table. We tried the salmon ceviche, the mussels, the Angus steak and the peanut foam dessert… all flawless!! Service was fast and the waiter was in a good mood turning the whole experience even better! The receptionist was great at handling the endless amount of guests pouring in. We were seated roughly after 20mins even though the whole place was packed. We had the razor clams which were devoured in a matter of minutes and the cod. The portions are big and we left there happy and full. Fantastic option for Porto. Probably our nicest meal in four days. The fish curry, clams and croquettes were particularly good. The restaurant was busy meaning service was a little slow but at the same time, I never felt rushed. It feels a little inauthentic (mostly tourists) and the prices are higher than elsewhere but quality of the food and pleasant atmosphere more than makes up for it. The food here is simply fantastic, it’s a must-visit in Porto. A lovely setting and friendly service round off the experience. The oxtail dumplings and wild shrimp risotto have got to rate in the top 100 dishes in the world, anywhere! The owner is so gentle. We heard about that place because of the sympathy of the owner and the quality of the food. And guess what? We tried to eat there two nights in a row and we finally managed to get a table between two other reservations. And it was delicious and everyone was very nice. Worth the one-hour wait. We cleaned the tapa plates as they arrived. The dishes came out one at a time, but that allowed us to focus on each one before the next one arrived. Service was also great - the manager/owner seem to try to get us seats. Great bruschetta with gluten-free bread, good fish soup, superb codfish and amazing(!) dessert! Every dish was better than the previous one! Our waitress Ines was very lovely and helpful and Isabel welcomed us warmly. We noticed how well Isabel treated every guest and other people that wanted to come into the restaurant. Found this place via Google reviews and I went there without a reservation (which I don't recommend because they're quite busy) and, I had lunch at the bar. I loved the food, it was delicious. The staff was super friendly and nice. The waitresses, such a nice lady. She came to see and check many times if everything was fine. Price wise, around 20-24 euros in average for the main course. Delicious steak and the food was generally exceptional. There were two things which can be improved. First, the wine selection by the glass was rather poor. Second, the waiting time was rather long (even to take our order) which is purely because of the fact that the place is understaffed. The service was really good.
