I am so glad I booked a reservation in advance here. The food was absolutely heavenly! I would come back to Porto just to eat here again. Lovely atmosphere, well decorated, cozy vibe, excellent food and service. Get a reservation in advance if you can. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff still offered quality and timely service. I had the best brushetta I've ever had from here. A very special restaurant, better to reserve at least 10 days before your day to avoid the long waiting line. Maybe the best meal we had while in Portugal! Highly reccomend this lovely restaurant. The upstairs is lively but comfortable to eat. Everything was good, but the seafood Thai curry was phenomenal. The sauce was delicious coconut that I could just drink on its own. An abundance of seafood was provided, mussels and fish were excellent. Could have used a bit more rice to soak up all the flavors! This restaurant is 100% worth the hour wait. Best dine out experience in a long time! The food quality is Michelin star. The duck is one of the best I’ve had and I eat a lot of ducks. The baked cod was amazing! Friendly and super capable host (I think it might be the manager or the owner), she made the wait way more tolerable and was just so sweet to us. Must eat in Porto!! Worth the one-hour wait. We cleaned the tapa plates as they arrived. The dishes came out one at a time, but that allowed us to focus on each one before the next one arrived. Service was also great - the manager/owner seem to try to get us seats. I have never been to such a wonderful restaurant! the food here is great and delicious!!! highly recommend the curry, I believe that it will give you special experience!! I knew this place was special when I saw the long line up outside. Since I was a solo diner I was lucky to get a seat at the counter. As expected the food was very tasty...I wish I could try everything in the menu! The peanut foam dessert is a must try! Usually busy places like this the service will suffer...but not this place! Just fantastic. This restaurant is simply on another level, everything was great: the service and the food. You should expect a taller bill, but that’s well deserved. I can especially recommend the tomato bruschetta for a starter. If you go without a reservation during peak hours, expect to stand in a long line outside. If you stand long enough, a massive cockroach will come out of a crack in the pavement and entertain you. Do not attempt to interfere, he will eventually retire back into the sewer. We had a delicious meal, served by a wonderful team. We opted to go for seafood, rather than some of the meat dishes the restaurant is famous for and we weren't disappointed. What a wonderful experience. From service to food, I was delighted to find this place. They were fully booked but the waiter was kind to accommodate me within certain time frame. The fish soup and clams are superb, and if you sit on the first floor, you can see some live actions of the kitchen. The staff are professional and friendly: a lady spilled something on her shirt and they offered her a T-shirt! Such kindness, I felt the warmth while watching this beautiful human moment happening next to me:) If you want an unforgettable meal and top notch service, this is definitely where you should go!
